Half a Hogget

Hogget available! One of the things I am particularly proud to offer is our home reared hogget meat. Totally different to lamb, hogget is a sheep over one year old but less than two years old. It is a dark, flavoursome, tender meat that cooks beautifully as a roast or stew. Ours are fed solely on grass with absolutely minimal medicines, no antibiotics, no additives in feed, nothing to artificially increase weight gain just pure hebridean water, clean air and rough grazing. This year they are gotland ot gotland x. Half a hogget: 15 chops/ribs, two legs, 3 joints, flank and kidney.
